Hey Adrienne, how's it going? Great, katie. You know why it's great. Why is it so great? Because it's summertime.
Speaker 2:Yes, it is summertime and we are going to take a little break from releasing new Kindle podcasts for the summer to give us a chance to be with our families and for you to be able to review all of the amazing content from season one. I can't believe it's been a whole year and I can't believe we have 50 episodes now and it's just been such a wild ride. What are some of your favorite season one moments?
Speaker 1:Learning how to do a podcast, definitely. I still remember those first couple of episodes, how nervous I was, and then now it's like I jump on and feel so comfortable and I just get so excited to hear from our guests. And we've had some really amazing guests on season one. I don't know how we're going to top it for season two.
Speaker 2:I know, I know I've learned so much yes, just about how to do a podcast Definitely learning over comfort there. Learning over comfort is one of our Prenda core values. Learning is never comfortable, but it is always worth it and that has definitely been a season one reflection for me Just doing something that's hard and doing something that's uncomfortable and scary but I think it's been successful. I feel like we've really been able to talk about some things that really need to be talked about, especially with the way education is going and society and all of the things that are stressing families right now. So I'm really grateful that all of our guests have come on and shared with us and I feel like we've been able to unpack some really like easy to apply skills. And I think that's been my favorite thing that we've really gotten into the nitty gritty with people and really talked about how to do things a little differently, how to think differently and how to believe differently.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and I have found when I'm reading a book or when we're interviewing a guest, I'm just a better person, a better parent, a better employee, a better wife, because these things are up front and center and just top of mind. Like when we were talking about play, I was more playful. We're talking about nonviolent communication. I was finding myself okay. I need to make sure that I'm using empathy and I'm really understanding and listening to my kids. So, yeah, I feel like it's just made me a better human.
Speaker 2:Same same, same same. Okay, so here's the plan for summer we are going to re-release our top 10 favorite episodes, so look forward to that. We will be doing this pause from now until august 27th, and on august 27th we will start re-releasing new season two content, and I am so excited we are going to have the best season two lineup and it's going to be even more amazing awesome, can't wait.
